On this day, three far-eastern companies bought Automobili Lamborghini. Indonesian Megatech bought 80 percent of the company, whilst MyCom and V'Power bought 10 percent each. However, all three companies were part of the same Indonesian holding company, Sedtco. In 1995, Megatech sold its shares to the other two, leaving MyCom with 40 percent and V'Power with 60 percent. MyCom, a Malaysian company, was controlled by Jeff Yap. V'Power, Indonesian company led by Tommy Suharto, also owned the American exotic marque Vector at this point of time.
